Flight Simulator on USS Midway

Just got back from San Diego CA took the usual tourist tour on the Aircraft Carrier Midway which was decomissioned anout 12 years ago. It was pretty cool, the cooler thing was on the hanger deck of the ship the had set up real flight simulators for F-4's. It's like they chopped the front half off the plane. You get to climb into it, the canopy comes down and on a big screen in front of you is where the simulation takes place. It's pretty sweet, the throttles are hooked up and the stick is wired as well. After about 40 minutes of flying we moved to landings both airfield and carrier. Not easy work at all in the tight cramped quarters of the cockpit. $40 for an hour of flying after preflight. I loved it.
Anyone else ever try it?
