Floating anemone

hi there....i'm totally new at this....just purchased a Pink Tip Haitian Anemone and it is floating on the top and overnite has attached itself to top of water line and glass...now its feelers seem to be shrinking and shrivling up.....should i be worried? and how do i get him dowm to bottom?? I think i should feed it every couple of weeks a raw piece of shrimp about its mouths size...........is this right? How can I feed it when its sideways??!!! THANK YOU SOOOO much for any responce!! Feelers are Tentacles. I would use a turkey baster purchased just for your tank, then thaw some meaty food like mysis shrimp or plankton. The tentacles should grab hold of them no problem if it is healthy. condy's are known as tumble weed style anemones, it can take weeks for them to settle down. If it is floating then I'd also check your water parameters and lighting, they also prefer a bit cooler temps.
