Floating Sediment

My tank is a 75 gallon reef with a small wet/dry but I use live rock and Chaeto in place of bio balls. I have sediment floating throughout my display tank. I don't know exactly what I could possibly do to eliminate that floating debris. I have done a large water change and can't seem to remove the floating debris. If you have any ideas please let me know. I'm desperate.

Is your overflow not skimming the water off the surface?

Do you have a filter on your return pump? I run a canister filter on my 55gal reef tank just to keep the water clear.
