Floating white particals?

My tank has these floating white things, very small.
They stick to the glass and when I remove them with the mag float they float around until they reattach to the glass?
What is it?

probably hydroid jellies..
need a picture though
there are lots of white particle thingies...

Many of them form tiny little star shaped figures when attached to the glass.
I know a pic would really help but I have no way of putting one on the site yet, sorry.

Do they look kind of like snowflakes? If so I'd say hydroid jellies also.

Yes they look very much like snowflakes!!
What are hydroid jellies, what can cause them, and are they bad?

Harmless ... they come in as hitch hikers but dissapear after a while.
