OK... So, I was not prepared for a bigger tank as fast as I needed one, and I now need help. I have a 55 with the standard lights and hood that comes with a "normal" hood. I am not looking to replace the hood!! I have a FOWLR and was wondering what is the best bulbs to get for the lighting system. The yucky ones that I have seem to just be a waste and create too much algea growth, even at 8 hrs a day. All of my levels are where they are supposed to be, so I am sure it is a lighting issue.
