if it moves near corals it will indeed sting them. Your lighting is insignificant condys arent partial to any type of light they can be found at depths of 15 to 18 ft with almost no light and be happy. IMO they are very easy to care for and eat everything. They wont eat your fish unless the fish is sick or dying then it just may fall victim. I have one and it stays away from everything and is doing just fine. And it tends to like the shaded part of my tank alot of times, and then it will stretch out to get some light but not all the time. I have std PC in a 29 Gal Bio Cube. hope that helps

Your clownfish may host with the condy. I had one in my tank for several months and no hosting was occurring, then suddenly one day the only place the clown could be found was near the condy.

Clowns and condis come from different oceans. I've heard of cases where they will host, but the odds are not in your favor.
My pink tip did, in fact, catch and eat fish.
They also tend to move a lot.

I also was thinking about picking up a condi. I have some Green Star Polyp and hope there wouldnt be an issue. I don't have the greatest lighting for my tank. I currently have a Nove Extreme HO T5 @ 96 watts and a regular strip @ 15w.
My tank is a 47g tall (31" deep), but, my living rock is built up and the peak is probably 10" from the surface.
For fish, I only have a Lawnmower,2 clowns and a 4 striped damsel. Hopefully the condi will eat the damsel......just kidding......sort of.

Just an opinion, but I would go for a Rose BTA before getting another condylactis. You both have enough light for one.

I agree about the clowns hosting on the Condi, its not in there natural environment. But, the flip side to that is a aquatacultured perc has never been in its natural environment so all it has to rely on is instinct. Is that enough for them to tell the difference? I dont know, I also agree though a green carpet or a BTA would be better as others have said. Clowns seem to host in them alot faster and more naturally.

Tank raised or not there is a chance that you can fill your tank with anemones and the clowns will still call a powerhead home. They're not called clownfish for nothin'.
