Florida Condi

I recently bought a florida condi. It is doing very well in the tank, but it moved itself into the back where we can't see it. How much lighting is required, how long should the lights be on, and should the power heads be directed at it or away? How do I get it to stay on top of the live rocks where we can see it? Thank you!

If it is new, it will move around alot until it finds a spot it likes. What kind of lighting do you have? It would be good if it could have a little water flow, not alot.

Bucko,
Anemones require high intensity lighting to survive in the long term. When I was new to saltwater I bought an Atlantic Anemone and it survived for only a few months under PC's. Yes they will move around quite a bit until they find an area with the proper amount of lighting and flow. Overall I don't think its chances for long term survival in your tank are great without MH's. Though I must say alot of times people have beaten the odds and kept some anemones successfully under various types of lighting. Whatever you decide to do good luck!
