flounder ID pls

Did you happen to collect it yourself somewhere? If so, where? Or was it a random LFS find, only labeled 'flounder'? Location of origin will help with the ID.
Word to the wise, becareful with the flounder and tankmates. They're pretty predatory, and grow awfully quick.

He is from an LFS. Just a random find, and they discounted him because i asked, so when they agreed, I kinda had to take it after that. I have always wanted one, and I did research them alot. I couldn't get a tank big enough then, but I can now. I got a very small one, about 2 inches, a bit more. I am probably going to trade him in later when he gets too big, but for now, it's a cool thing to have. It was one of the fish I set out to own.
It was just labeled sand flounder. He is pink and white. He has a veiny pattern on his entire top of his body. That's about it... He doesn't Have those "3 eye spots" I keep reading about... just two eyes. He looks like cookie monster.

Okay well I didn't find anything about the flounder except things about eating them. I think he might be a sun dial. The only thing that seems closer to the description is that is said "it is oval rather than round.'
He is indeed very oval and has a pink veiny look. Is there some where that has info on flounders, not the kind you eat??
