Is a fluidized bed filter a good way to biologically filter your tank? I have seen them online for fairly cheap, 69.99 for 300g, but I am wondering if it is worth it. Can anyone who has expierience with these or uses one recommend a certain brand or type?

They do work. The claim a better rate of break down than a wet/dry. I don't buy it.
As stated, they will work. BUT, do not let them sit for any time and then restart them without first cleaning them.
