I have a 260 gallon FOLR and I am pretty sure my 3 angel fish (queen angel, emp angel and flame angel) as well as my long nosed butterfly have flukes. I emersed the emperor in freshwater for a couple of minutes last week and literally saw the flukes fall off of him. I have about 200 lbs of live rock so I dont think I can do the hyposalinity method. I was not able to find our a lot about flukes, but I did read that Praziquantal is an effective treatment. I dont know if that is true. My water parameters are fine, with no ammonia, normal salinity etc.
is Praziquantal the only treatment besides getting them out of there?
Does anyone have experience with it? Will it harm the live rock?
Is it available?
Does anybody have experience treating flukes with this or anything else?
I tried a cleaner shrimp, but they were devoured by a ghost eel within a couple of days. I am getting some neon gobys, but will they help this?
