Fluval 305 Bubbles

Hi, need help here with my Fluval 305. Every 15 minutes or so it pushes out a lot of bubbles. The intake and output are not bent or crimped and the intake is not near any air bubbles. Any suggeeestions? It is not causing a problem for fish or coral but is SOOOO annoying. I tried taking cover off and resetting, no luck. I can hear it in the canister before it pushes out, (makes like a gushing noise) any suggestions? Please help and respond. Thank you.

I had this problem initially with my 305 as well. Turns out the intake tube wasn't pushed in tight enough when I connected it to the fixed tube that drops down into the tank. It looked perfect but just like you said a little gushing noise and some bubbles every few minutes. Just a thought......

Yeah all that is good, unless the o ring is just bad, but it is brand new. Thank you for the reply!!

Don't I have to unscrew the set up to do this? The little lock nut things? Thanks though, sounds like you might be right being that you knew exactly what I was talking about. I will try to screw around with it but don't want the water to rush out of the lines. Any idea how I can do this without loosing the water in the lines?

Unfortunatley yes luckily I noticed it about 20 minutes after I started my filter so I wasn't worried about loosing a little water. Hopefully it will work and wont create to much of a mess!
