fluval 404 for sump pump ?

I just had an idea I just bought a overflow. I was wondering if I could use my fluval 404 for a pump. I would have the inlet in the sump and the outtake in the main take the overflow would bring water back down to sump. Can this be done? I would apprecaite any responses to this.

This is very interesting to me. I am looking into getting a sump. I have a overflow that is not being used. You think that I could maybe get a 10-20g tank. That would be great. I could get my hang on prizm skimmer, and heater off the back of my tank. Do you have any pics of your set up. If you do could you email them to me please. I would like to see how you set up looks.
