Fluval 404

Question on my 2 year old Fluval 404. Cleaned it out two days ago. Now I cannot get it to run for more than a few seconds. Starts to work and then stops. Becoming a real headache. The only reason I use it is because of a UV. Do you think its time has come? The impeller is cleaned every month so it is not that. I put a new impeller in today and same results. I hate to buy a new one if it is something simple I may be missing. Any suggestions?

Did you try cleaning the area where the propeller sits, there may be sand or debris inside the hole that is holding the propeller back.
