i recently changed the media in the filter, and now it is putting microbubbles in the tank every once in a while. i threw the box and instruction booklet away i guess, i cant find it, any suggestions on getting it to quit doing this would be greatly appreciated. thanks...

Ive had this problem before. What you need to do is go to the output hose that goes along the back of the tank and wiggle it a little. that should do the trick.

i tried that and it put brown stuff in the tank, almost like plaque-like material.

hmm...don't know what to tell you. I do know what your talking about with the brown stuff coming out of the output...but that;s what did it for me.

You are drawing in air somewere, put a small amount of vaseline or vegetable oil around the rubber seal to see if that does the trick. The cause is more than likely micro cracks in that seal, you may have to replace it.
