Ok I am thinking about upgrading to a 55 gallon tank and I have a question. My current setup includes a 35 gallon with a emporer 280 and prizm skimmer. My question is would it be better to get a new fluval canister filter and use it with the 35 gallon tank under the 55 gallon to filter and pump the water back up into the 55 gallon? Or should I just keep the emporer with the 55 gallon and not even consider using the 35 gallon for filtration purposes?
