Foam/pad under tank?

I just bought an acrylic sump for my new tank (not yet set up) and am curious weather or not to put some kind of foam or pad under the acrylic sump tank?

How big is the sump?
If it's larger than a couple dozen gallons, it would help support it to have something under it, but if it's smaller, you shouldn't need it. Of course, even on small sumps it won't hurt.

The sump is 32 long, 15.5 high, and 12 wide.

Well that's under about 20 gallons assuming normal operational levels (I.E. not full). I'd say you'll be okay either way.

Should be okay, but it can't hurt. It is easier to put in now than after everything is plumbed in.
