foggy tank

i just set up a tank added sand and rock and now its all foggy and the filter doesnt remove it. would a powerhead help to circulate the water or what do u suggest

It just needs a few days to settle down. Some people turn off pumps until it settles to keep debris out of them.
Did you wash the sand first?

I think it will settle faster if you keep your pumps and skimmer on. I'm sure it has already settled by now though.
