It is a unit that you can buy that you connect to your tap your your bath tub water and it cleans out your water really well and it makes it a lot softer. Here is a link http://www.**************.com/produc...al&Np=1&N=2004
there are 2 step and 3 sand 4 step units i think. I think they make the water just like spring water you can buy is the stores but maby a little better.
Hop That Helps and welcome to the board.

Is your tank like a 36 courner? Where is will fit in the courner of a room? I have one like that too.

just throw a bag of activated reef carbon into your filter. This will clear the problem up within a few hours. Then, when it is done, you can either take the carbon out, or you can leave it in for three weeks. After three weeks, it will start giving off nitrates. It must be changed at the most at three weeks. However, if you leave it in the tank for three weeks, it will also take some trace elements out of the water. To counteract this, get Kent's Essential Elements and you will be good to go.
What I would suggest, just leave it in until the problem is cleared up. Then, remove it. Every time you start to see the tank getting a little foggy, throw a bag of carbon into the filter and let it correct your problem.
If you are using tap water, that is where your problem is most likely coming from. Most people try to find another source of water, such as the above-mentioned, RO. RO is just water that is totally purified and most fish stores sell it for 50 cents per gallon. I highly recommend it!

Yea i love mine. But I didn't get the stand did you? I think mine was about $300. Yours? the only bad part is it is hard to take good picturs because of the curved glass.

i bought mine with a hood and a stand for total of about 600-625. i love the way it looks, it is beautiful, and people say it looks much bigger than it is. i think the bow front actually helps in the viewing of the tank as opposed to a hexaginal.
