Food change?

ok, well, the fish market where I lived had to shut down for a few months due to the oil spill and other pollution problems. I was hoping to make a new food mix for them using brine shrimp, chopped table shrimp and nori. I was wondering if I could add some mashed peas or maybe garlic salt to the mix. Would that be any good for them or should I try something else? Maybe add some phytoplankton from filter feeder food and some flake food to the mix?

well I've tried that but when I put one thing in one fish will eat it and the others wont and so on and so forth. The only time I can get ALL of them to eat is if I mix it all up.

After what I went through to get them, yeah X /. Anyways, I got a mix in mind and I've made it. I haven't tried it yet. It's pretty much what I've already stated and listed minus the garlic salt. I wasn't sure if it was safe or not. Is this ok?

I would not put any phyto in, and stay away from anything that they do not eat in their natural enviro. But that's imo.
