Food Clips

I just purchased a sailfin Tang. The LFS sold me a clip for the dried seaweed. How big a piece and how long should I keep it in the tank? I only have one herbivore.

clip a real small piece of seaweed to it. i normally leave it in the tank for 3-4 hours 2x a week.

Depends on your tangs size. I have 2 sm herbs. and add 2"x2" square folded in the a.m. and if any is left before lights out I'll remove it. Never is. I do this every other day. You learn how much it eats and adjust after a few times.
