Hello all and goody evening/day. Does anyone have any knowledge or info about a line of food by New Life called Spectrum THERA+A Non Medicated Anti-Parasitic Formula? Specifically is it safe for use in a tank with inverts? I see on the ingredients it has copper sulfate listed at the end, so I think I have a feeling of the answer, but just want to make sure.
Thank you for your tiem.

I never noticed that! I have used the food-this morning as a matter of fact. One day, I noticed ONE white dot on ONE of my fish, so panicked and ran to the fish store. (I have NEVER had ick on any of my fish in any of my tanks as I am a meticulous fish keeper)They recommended that I wait, but suggested feed Garlic and this Thera + plus food as a deterrant. My fish love it as do the shrimp and as of today I have had no adverse reactions, but have not tested for copper-But I do run Cuprisorb, Chemipure and ???pur(cant rmember the name) all the time in my sump so that could account for no problems.

Yes I try to avoid copper at all costs. That is a scary thought eh?- A shrimp munching on food with copper.....

Yeah-you'd think they would know better! I am interested in seeing if you get a response from beth. Will not feed any more of that food till kow for sure! The pellets are just the right size for the shrimp though.

yes i use this food 2 times a day for all my fish and my anenome gets a bunch of it as i feed my clown .most foods by spectrum contain this and alot of other dried formulas also.the only different ingredient i have have found in thera+A formula vs the normal sprectum pellets is the added garlic in thera+A i double check this at lfs today .not only do my anenomes eat it so do all of my other inverts .I have a small 10 gal tank set up for growing macro algae and aiptasia(for my pearlscale butterfly) they even eat the stuff when i feed the tank.i think the amount given is so minute it doesnt have the same impact as treating your tank.i have been using this stuff for a couple yrs .ask any supplier they will tell you this is one of the best foods available nutrient wise for all fish.shark also eat this stuff my puffer ect daily.
