Food Question

I bought a new anemone about a week ago and fed it some frozen food today that was a mixture of shrimp and algae. It looked like it was eating but when it opened up the chunk was still there. I was wondering if they need to eat anything specific? I also have a problem feeding it with my clown that hosts it, everytime I put food in it and it starts closing my clown will go and shake it loose and open it back up. Does anyone else have this problem?

Feed your clowns and fish first. Otherwise they will steal the food from the anemone.
As for food - try not to feed it mixed foods since it has a less likely chance of getting a firm grip on the food - or it may not even grip it at all. Feed it chunks (smaller than its mouth) of raw fish and shrimp. You only need to feed it about once a week - and even that is excessive feeding if you have proper lighting and a clown that is hosting.
