:jumping: Hi!
I am a new nano owner and newbie...I bought a 12 gal JB nano tank and paid for someone's preexisitng 16 gal nano which he moved into my tank. After 2 days it all started to die off.....Probably too much die off in the live sand and live rock....It took about one month to recyle...The rock has started to come back beautifully....I bought a clean up crew of 3 margritta snails....3 asteria snails..4 hermit crabs...2 peppermint shrimp..& 2 porclean crabs..I do a small water change once a week but will stretch it to every ten days now......Some polyps on the rock started to come back...There is also a nice worm rock of small red feather dusters......Yesterday I bought a pistol shrimp and watchman goby (I won't be getting any other fish for such a small tank)....and a recordia mushroom coral and gorgonian...also a very small worm rock....I will wait a few weeks to add a pulsating Xenia (it was ordered)......
This morning I saw that the recordia moved off the rock onto the bottom as did the worm rock....Is that common?
Also I feed once or 2 a week a drop of Zoolplankont and sinking brine pellets......How often should I be feeding??????
Thanks............
Terri
