thay did not fight at all mine rushed at the smaller one
and the smaller one just shivered
but now when i feed them the big one keeps stealing the food

Mine use to do that also. I was told not to worry about it and that they are competing for dominance. The other one will eventually grow some balls and fight back for food haha. So I suggest you not worry about it. Fish can go without food for a week.

You have to let them work out dominance issues. Healthy clowns can go without food for a week or so will no ill effects as previously stated above. If the male is bullied to the point of physical injury then I would intervene. You didn't say how long this has been going on. In the begining of their relationship, females will establish the ground rules and make sure the male knows who is in charge, this will go on sometimes for months. She will be all cuddly one day then chase him away the next. What ae you feeding?

Too soon to in the relationship to worry. Try giving enough food to occupy the female that will give male a fighting chance.

Or splitting where you feed. In other words, drop some food in one corner of the tank, which will draw the female, then look for the male, and drop some food closer to him.
Constantly overfeeding isn't a long-term solution, but sometimes you have to do it, in order to feed the livestock.

You get overfeeding from this,
hmmm interesting. But you are right, would be a very bad idea to cionstantly over feed anything.

Check out thread "fighting false percs" in this forum, I posted some pairing information, it may answer your questions.

Had to go back and reread,
do you think they are progressing too fast?
I think that is impossible, they just bond at their own rate fast/slow.

What you have is the perfect scenerio for pairing clowns. Good job,

Now may they go forth and multiply.

Good Luck with them.

Your answers:
They don't need an anemone.
Prpoer lighting is a must.
A bta is the best choice for an anemone.
Go slow, your tank should be up and running for appx 6 months before adding an anemone. Anyone can keep them if you provide it with it's basic needs. Even you

I have a bonded pair of Ocellaris, they have been together for over 2 years. I have had no spawns to date. It may be a while for yours too

Raising fry is complicated, I have no experience. I am hoping to one day try.
