I made some fish food a few days ago. I stunk up the kitchen blending up crab legs, mussels, bloodworms, silversides, shrimp, lettuce, egg yolk, fish flakes, oh yeah and some strips of salmon sides. The blue crab and mussels were $3 each. The salmon was given to me by the meat dept mgr. The other stuff I had bought from the lfs....which I realize now is WAY overpriced....look at the label at how much MOISTURE is in the ingredients! What a rip-off! I only used half of all the stuff I had...but after all the blending, it yielded WAY more than those tiny little packages of $4 food! I wished I had scallops, squid, nori and shrimp with shells....oh well, next time!
