I have one other idea here. Instead of setting up two different ten gallons....I do have a non used forty five right now. Which would be better to set up..the two or the one. It was just another idea I was playing with here. Any thoughts on that at all? Thank you for the help. I do read the posts on fish stress. I am always willing to learn. What I don't understand is though how to soak the food. Could you explain that in a little more detail. I do feed my fish marine flakes, frozen brine, frozen formula two and also roman lettuce. So can you explain that process to me a little bit better so I understand. As I said before, thank you for all your help here. I will wait til I hear from you. I will have both tanks set up here waiting to go so when I do hear back from you I can get right to it. But any ideas with either size tank, ten or 45...how much water roughly you take out so I know I am doing it right? Kelly

Yes, forget the 10 and set up the larger tank...definately an improvement.
You can get garlic extract at the grocery store or at the health food store. You can also use fresh crushed garlic. Don't use any store product that has anything else in it except garlic. There is also now a garlic extract sold specifically for the marine hobby. if you have a well stocked LFS, maybe they have it. You can really only soak your frozen foods in it [from the list that you are using, anyway]. Just put the food in a dish, pour garlic juices over it, or, in the case of pure garlic, mix up the smashed garlic with food, let it soak for at least an hr then feed to the fish. If you are using fresh garlic, take out the garlic pieces before putting food in tank.
If you have tangs or angelfish, or any vegetarian fish, you need to supplement the food you are offering with seaweed selects and spirulina.
As for the process with hypo, try taking out a gal in the 45 every few hrs, and check your fish for stress. They should be perfectly fine, however. This is kinda like making a meal from scratch. You gotta be the judge about how much to remove, and how fast, but the stress, or lack of stress, of your fish.
Hey, I am having trouble also with the computer taking my thread and posting someone else's posts...lol.

Thanks Beth. I will get to it tonight and see how it goes. Wish me luck and again, as always, thanks for the help. I am new with the disease part so I am glad someone is being patient with me. Kelly
