for ick

what is the best cure for ick in a saltwater aquarium, i found out do not use copper killed all my mushrooms and invetibrites i was just wondering if anyones ever used anything that works without killing my other stuff, i no the best cure is not to get ick but whos to no when a fish is going to get it, please help thanks and ive already had cleaner shirmps i had five of them and they all died when my temp in my tank rose to 90 degrees, but my fish have real nice tans ( ya right)

im not sure but heard people here talk about garlic . this site might help

I agree with the last assesment about using copper. Freshwater dips can be helpful depending upon the fish...I use a garlic solution every night to soak my food with. I have not had any ich outbreaks since I started doing this about a year ago.....There was a good article in aquarium magazine about freshwater dips. IT was from about 3 months ago. The more ya read the better you are prepared....Best of luck :D
