Who else thinks McCain/Palin should get tough and quit being so dang nice? They are still in the hunt, but they need to get agressive and start playing hardball. Do you agree?

I'm hearing that the Campaign is putting together an ad attacking the dems on the whole Fannie/Freddie fiasco. That youtube video that stdreb posted was the kicker. I'm tired of seeing Dodd and Franks pat themselves on the back for fixing something that they broke. An attempt to CYA, if you ask me. And to ask McCain to come to Washington to help out and then say he's not wanted???? I was surprised when McCain didn't say much on that. Sooo...kick it up a notch!!!!

I think running against the Democrats as a whole is what he should have been doing all along but "Attack" ads wont help with independents or moderates from either party. Sticking to the facts and pointing out what would be in store should Obama take control with this particular congress should be very effective.

I am a Republican. However go to Politifact.com and on the right side about 1/2 way down look at the truth o meter rulings for Obama and McCain.
McCain looks like a liar to me. If he is going to attack he better be truthful about what he says.

+1.
I used to be big fan of republicans, but they seem to be just as dirty and crooked as the dems these days. I hope someday we actually get a decent third choice with a possibility to win, you know the other two will come up with a bipartisan way to fight that, lol.
I watch Fox News normally, but I sure wish they would drop the fair and balanced crap. I'm not sure who they are kidding. They are needed to offset the liberal news, but they are just as far right as the others are far left.

No, McCain has alread violated some of his principles to appease the far right and I think that was a huge mistake.
I want to hear the details in policy. I have no need to hear about how bad the other guy is going to be.

I think there's still room to attack with "FACTS". There's just too many ways where the truth will come out and "lies" are just a big turn-off, especially for independents. I know they turned me off, even the McCain ads. Wish he would've stuck to the truth.

The difference between Fox, vs pick one, is they are honest. Their opinion people say they are the opinion people. And their news people pretty much stick to the news. In my opinion of they were a right wing version of CNN or MCNBC you'd see Hannity say that he isn't biased at all. The "token" left winger would be someone like Bill Orielly, who is a war supporter but a wash when it comes to economics. And well, they'd be busy firing anchors.
But seriously

I don't think they've wander that far off the "truth" reservation. Of course anything he says the left, and their media is going to dispute.

Those polifact check sites are BS for the most part. Annenberg is probably the best but they also allow their own biases to play in on some issue. Just looking at ratruthometer doesn't tell the whole story.

Name a news ANCHOR on fox that shows a biased. Name a news anchor on fox that showed a biased about the DNC when reporting on it...
I can name many "news anchors" from the others that showed a bias when covering the RNC.

this is for repbulicans only..........
but since you asked Hannity, O'Reily, Carlson ... if you wear your party on your sleeve... and if everything the other candidate does is wrong.. you are biased..
Fox biased
MSNBC biased
CNN somewhere in the middle... yet skewed to left. major contributors from each party.

Clearly you missed my point, Hannity doesn't say he is "unbiased" Orielly doesn't say he is "unbiased." Neither one of them attempt to pass of their opinion shows as anything other than an opinion show. They clearly say their shows are opinion shows. The whole point of hannity and colmes is to have a dem, and a republican on the show and interview various politicians and nutcases ask them leading questions.
