For once the NCAA is actually HELPING my team! Huzzah!

This never happens, but i'll take it! It looks like Clemson (assuming they beat NC State this weekend, and even if they lose to South Carolina from what I'm hearing) will be either an 11-1 or a 10-2 BCS at large bid winner to play in the Sugar Bowl against Alabama. The funny part is this is all gonna happen with them losing the ACC outright. Had they beat Florida State and then run the table in the conference, they would be stuck playing in the Orange Bowl against either Louisville or Cincinnati, because there is no way they would have jumped K-State, Oregon, or Notre Dame coming from the ACC to get into the national championship game. Not that playing in the Orange Bowl is "stuck", but if you had a choice between playing Cincinnati or Alabama under the bright lights, that's a no brainer!
Well done BCS!

Wouldn't you rather play a team you actually have a chance of beating? :)

Hey now! The SEC is built on tough defenses and non-flashy, get-it-done offenses. I think A&M had such success because Alabama didn't fare all that well against a good spread, high tempo offense. Clemson's offense is second best in the country behind Oregon if you ask me. I think it would be a very good game honestly. People outside of South Carolina don't realize how much talent we have on offense. Two first round NFL receivers, and a mid round tailback, teamed up with a QB with the second best QB rating in the country.
I just really hope this Alabama/Clemson Sugar Bowl happens and we win, so the rest of the country can finally get off the ACC's back. Yes, most of the ACC is terrible, but that doesn't mean Clemson and Florida State are too...

Dude. Ya beat Auburn by a touchdown. They haven't won a game against a BCS conference team this year. The ACC is just awful right now. There's a good reason why you have two 1 loss teams ranked behind three 2 loss teams. But I don't blame you, any given Sunday. I'd want to play in the biggest game too.
