Hi!
I have a Jalli Compact Floresent light for sale.
It runs 4 36 watt bulbs
2 white and 2 blue. The 2 blue bulbs are brand new. The 2 white bubls are fine but that side was not working. It just went out. I went through the whole light and it has to be the ballast. All the wireing looks fine. I have the ballast out right now. I am not doing a reef anymore and I am having a little trouble tring to find the exact ballast. So I dont want to go through the trouble. I have been told that different ballast will work you just fine you might have to do a little re wiring though.

I don't understand what you're selling. You say you have the ballast out but then you say you can't find the exact ballast.:confused: I'm just trying to understand what costs $190. The 4 bulbs and non-working ballast?

Well one reason I am selling it is because I am not going to be doing a reef anymore.
I took the ballast out because I thought someone might be able to check it sence I am not totally sure if that is what it is. I am pretty sure it is though. The light has 2 ballast in it. 1 is bad I believe. The other works fine. 1 ballast runs 2 bulbs each. I have not been able to find the exact ballast. I have found a few places that say they can basically match it. They said you just might need to do a little re wiring because the wires that come out of the ballast are not exactly the same. The ballast I have found cost about $25.00 to $30.00 The light new cost around $300.00 new and I just bought 2 brand new bulbs. The other 2 bulbs are fine.
I am selling everything. I am putting the ballast back in. If the peson that wants it wants me to. If not I will just send the ballast along. So the light is complete. It has the 2 ballast 1 working and 1 not. (I believe) 4 bulbs 2 white and 2 blue. I just bought the 2 blue bulbs at $25.00 each. Teh the hood of course. The 2 ballast are inside the hood.
So I do not think it will take much to get the 2 white bulbs working. I know the bulbs are good. I put them in the other side and they come on. So everything is there and working except 1 or the 2 ballast that run 2 of the bulbs. So all you have to do is get a balast at about $25.00 to $30.00 I just do not have the time to look and do some minor re wiring. I just dont want to do it. So the light new was $300.00 I belive maybe a little less and it has 2 brand new blue bulbs which cost $25.00 each. It just needs about $25.00 to $30.00 put in to it. You can make me an offer it you want.

I just bought 2 blue bulbs. They were $25.00 each. I thought the bulbs were out. I now figure that it has to be the ballast that runs those 2 bulbs. The other ballast the runs the other 2 bulbs is fine. I am just having trouble finding a ballast for it and really do not have the time to look. I just bought a new retro kit because I put a conopy on.
