For those of you with mh.............

what do you do for actinic if your mh is in a canopy? do you have a mh actinic bulb that need need a seperate ballast and reflector for? is the actinic bulb a pc that sits on the lip of the tank or is it mounted in the canopy?

I have 2 NO flourescent Actinics beside my 175w 20k's. Yes the NO's need a seperate ballast and reflector.
I'm not recomending NO's though. Get PC's or VHO's. I want to upgrade to VHO's but I have a pre-built hood, and I haven't figured out how to mount them.

Oh yeah, you pretty much need to mount them on top like the halides. Otherwise they may shade the halides.
