For you Wii owners

I was walking through Target and saw two Wii consoles sitting in the display so I picked one up to see what it was all about. This is one cool machine! Now I'm trying to figure it all out. I picked up Mario Galaxy to play with my daughter and it is great. Have a couple of questions.
Is it worth buying the Opera browser and surfing the net with it? I hear you can put a wireless keyboard on it and it works great, but do you have a mouse?
Anyone have Tiger Woods Golf 2008? Is it worth picking up?
What are some other must have games or things to do with it I may have not discovered yet?

Tiger Woods is great. Love playing. Don't play too many other games, Wii Sports still and Wii Play, we're super addicited to Battle Tanks. Opera is pretty cool, we got the Beta for free. The only problems surfing the web is with the Wii's lack of memory, watching 'big videos' (anything over 15mins) becomes a risky decision. And without getting an SD card, nothing with shockwave/flash works.
Nice to not bring the laptop out just to watch a quick youtube vid or look something up. No mouse/keyboard here. The controller is good enough for anything short of a 2 sentence email.

Tiger Woods 08 is freaking great. I play that game the most out of all the other games I have. Some other fun games are the first player shooting games like resident evil, or the WWII ones.
I haven't boughten the browser yet, really no need to for me. If you have a reason to have the Internet on the TV screen, then it would be a good buy.
Another game, if you haven't already boughten a second controller, Wii has an extra controller that comes with another game bundle - they have ping-pong, tanks, fun games like that.

When I got my wii, the internet channel was free. If you need to buy it, then i would say that it isnt worth buying. It is slow and you use the wiimote as a mouse which gets kinda annoying after a while.

If you access the internet with your wii console, go to the wii store for games. Theres a ton of old games you can get for next to nothing.
I downloaded Super Mario 3, Bubble Bobble, Toejam and Earl....

Thanks for the info. I do have it hooked up through the internet and I bought a wireless Gamecube controller for it also because I do plan on downloading some of the games and possibly pick up a few gamecube games when I see them.
I will most likely get Tiger Woods 08 tomorrow as it is on sale at Target. I was thinking about Zelda also. I haven't played that since it first came out on the old Nintendos.

Can someone please explain Guitar Hero to me? I admit, I've never played it but being a guitar player, I guess I just don't get the point. What makes it so popular? I may have to give it a try.

Found out something about Wii I didnt know. you can play the old GC games on it. This is making me want one now. We have two game cubes, one isnt working, but have lots of games. My son loves the Zelda games, and I Like them and the Pokemon stadeum games. I wasnt really interested in it because of the controler. If I can use my old controler then it may be worth getting one for the family.
Not like we already dont have enough video systems around here. ha
We have ninteno, super nintendo, Game cube, sega, playstation, playstation 2 and multiple game boys. My son now wants an x-box or playstation 3.

check it out at walmart and watch someone play if you dont feel like it...but you have the guitar and just try to play along with the song...it is addicting for some reason--we have it and i like it. i mean come on, you're in a band,lol...probably why its so popular..you play like the crap, the music sounds like crap...i dont know--it's just fun..not quite like playing a real guitar

speaking of GHIII, did you all send in your mono disks for new stereo ones? In case you didnt know, GHIII on the wii was made in mono, so they recalled it.
