Force aneomne to split

Carpet anemones are not known to readily split in captivity. I wouldn't even try forcing it.
I've ripped one of my RBTA's (somewhat purposely) and both halves lived, but they are known to naturally split in aquariums.

Haha ok..
I had to move one of my coral rocks, and I didn't know the RBTA was attached to that and also another rock at the same time. So when I picked up the coral the anemone was latched on tight and before I knew it I had ripped about 2 cm of the anemone.
I thought this would be a perfect time to try to frag my RBTA, so I just gave it another yank. A few days later both halves fully healed into two perfectly healty anemones.
It worked for me this time, but I wouldn't try it again or recommend it for others.
