I've added these frozen foods to my reefs diet.....I know several of you use these also. I also use frozen brine and blood worms and mysis......I add these to a lil tank water with zoe & dt's...every thing breaks down to a good consistancy except the formula 1&2.......I've got to where I just slice it up as fine as possible......any suggestions..........the guys like it but I just doesn't melt as well as the others......thx

These products have gelatin in them making them more solid (check the ingredients). I thaw them first then I put it in a blender (I use solely for fish)with some aquarium water. I also use the blender to make my own fish food. My ingredients are more or less the same as formula one except that I add a drop of multivitamins that does not contain copper. I also toss in any vegie that is available. Of course, I don't use gelatin. ;) HTH

I soften it up a bit and then take a sharp knife and carve it into little pieces and then put a couple of drop of Zoe on it and put some pieces in the tank. Once one fish grabs it, it breaks up pretty good and everyone enjoys!!

I use Formula 1 & 2 plus Angel Formula every day and have for a number of years. I to let it thaw about 10 minutes cut it up fine and put in tank. For the tanks with very small baby fish I cut it up very fine. All the fish in all the tanks eat it and seem to enjoy playing with it a bit. I like the fact that it sticks together somewhat less of a mess in the tank.

I let mine thaw for about 5 minutes and then I break each cube into 4 pieces. The fish take care of breaking it up further. Everyone seems to get their fill.

I let it thaw a little then cut it into litlle pieces that you can mash between your fingers underwater then you have some big chunks and little chunks. If you let it thaw long enough it will turn to almost liquid which the fish would have a hard time eating.
