A few weeks ago I was sitting around gazing upon my 30 gal reef, pondering on what I should do next when I saw somthing under a rock that normally wasent there. It was orange-ish looking and it was moving. Well, after about 5 to 10 minutes of waiting for it to move out from under the rock, I realized it was some sort of bristle worm......and a big one too. So I whipped out the camera and took some pics. The first two are of the worm working it's way around the rock, the last one is the worm out in the open after I got out my spot feeding stick and somehow managed to pull it away from the rock. When I did so, it bunched it's self up and wasent near as long as it was without me messing with it, but still, even then, it's a long sucker! I figure about 8 to 10 inches long at minimum.
I never killed it or took it out since I havent had any issues.
Here are a few pics........
