fowler?

Hey guys. I live in New Orleans and had a very nice 125 gal. reef tank that I lost in hurricane Katrina. I have all the equiptment ready to go and want to start over. I was considering going fish only this time just to make things easier on me. I have been reading here about people doing Fowler tanks. My question is what is a fowler tank?

No corals and limited inverts, maybe a small clean up crew.
