FOWLR + Cleaner Shrimps: Do you maintain calcium?

I believe in an ideal situation, maintaining calcium level (by means of calcium supplements) is always good.
My question is: Do you, in practice, maintain calcium at a certain constant level in your tank (If yes, what level is it maintained at?) OR do you let the calcium that comes in your salt do the job whenever you do 20% saltwater change every two weeks (wiil that be enough to sustain the calcium level needed by 2 cleaner shrimps in a 75 gallon FOWLR tank?
Will an overdose of calcium have any detrimental effects on fishes, shrimps or corals, btw?

I try to keep mine between 400-450 ppm. That along with maintaining mid 3's in alk. keeps my corraline algae happy.

the coraline, on the rock will do much better at around 400, but without corals, you really don't need it much ove 350 or 400, with corals, you definitely want it up higher
i am not sur e what exactly is needed for shrimp, but all crustaceans need iodine and calcium, but most salts have enough to maintain those levels, so if you keep it high enough for your rock(and or corals, you will be more than adequate)
