Your welcome. I am not taking sides here but would rather see some advice offered to those of us that are new in the marine hobby instead.
Good luck with your tank, hope your Tang will be alright....... :)

Debbie, I can appreciate your concern, but that is exactly what I started out doing. I offered my input which was ignored. I said that his fish were too big for his tank. He said "I know they will eventually outgrow the tank, but until then they are fine". I'm sure you would live too if somebody stuck you in a telephone booth and fed you everyday. As long as your living and breathing and eating, I guess you are ok. Ignorance is the biggest weakness most people don't know they have. And I know fishguy or is gonna jump in and open and shut his mouth a few times.... blah blah blah.. save it boy.. I'm done offering my advice to this kid, I am now just defending my case to you Debbie. Thanks

Time to get back to work.........

Wow, what a thread!! Seems to me the one that needs to grow and up and grow some "pubes" would be you fishkiller for even posting such stupid responses. Having 9 years of experience does not make you perfect. You may have more experience but unfortunally you have no interpersonal skills with sharing them which makes them worthless. I happen to agree that the lionfish does look a bit large in that tank, fishman. BUT.... the picture was taken at an angle....and it is really hard to tell. The other thing is, as long as you are willing to be responsible about him going back to lfs or upgrading then that is your business of when you do it as long as his health is not at risk. I hate to say it all.....but ALL marine life we keep are CONFINED...so if it is not fair to confine them we ALL need to throw them back in....but of course that is not going to happen...so we do the best with what we have. That lionfish could have found a much worse home, but he seems very content in that tank....as long as he was taken out of the ocean, we all to some degree make him less "happy" as we do with all our fishies....Fishman, I know how it is with the algae on the glass, I gotta do some scrapin' this weekend myself...I think your tank looks nice from what I can see....FishKiller, go find another thread to kill.....apparently you don't belong here....next time use my constructive critisiscm and think before you post on HOW you tell someone about what you think, it did come off not nice!

Well, said! I have a very similar views (https://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?t=168554)
Our entire hobby is based on keeping marine life in the confines of our home aquariums. Let's work together to support our friends here. IMO, positive, constructive advice will do more than all the critical stuff... Sure, a 75 gallon tank is probably pushing the limits just a bit, but Fishman will take care his issues as they occur. For now, he appears to have things under control.

lol... you people crack me up... This site WAS full of good EDUCATED people. Sad to see that after not being here for a few months, THEY ARE ALL GONE. This is obviously no longer the place for me. They should rename this sight MARINE ELEMENTARY... It would be much more appropriate. Goodbye you sad, sad people. :joy:

P.S.
