FOWLR Setup

Hey Everyone!
I am brand new to this, but extremely excited to get started. My dad and I are working on a tank this summer (he has done one but it was about 20 years ago!). I think we will go with a FOWLR setup in something around an 80-100g tank.
I just wanted to get an idea of what fish/inverts/anythign else we will be looking at putting in the tank. A lot of the reef fish and inverts really are beautiful, but I wanted to start a bit easier. Are there any anemones or other reef-like life which can life fairly easily in a FOWLR tank?
I know that the purchasing of fish is a bit off still, but I want to get a feel for what species of fish I will be working with so I can research them while the tank is cycling.

Really the only "reef-like" things people put in the tank are corals, cleanup crew, shrimp, and anemones... but depending on the fish.. i wouldnt add any of those. For the fish you could do in, well, we'll just say a standard 90gal. You could do tangs, triggers, puffers, angels.. ect. Now for a 90 I dont mean 1 of each and i'm not saying get 3 of one thing.. just giving you a general idea on what you could put in there. Also look at batfish, lions, wrasses and others for a FOWLR. Just do some reading so you can detect some potential problems like knowing not to put a lion/batfish in with triggers and what not
Good luck with the upcoming tank, and welcome to the board

browse around the internet for a compatability chart for fish start with the fish you want the most that will fit your tank size then stock around that fish.be sure to check compatabilty of each species before buying ,i found this to be the most effective way to reduce prospective aggression between tank mates.

The book The New Marine Aquarium by Michael Paletta was a tremendous help for me... Check it out from the Library...
