Hi,
I am planning on starting a 180 gallon (6 foot) fowlr aquarium. I am planning on having 150 pounds of live rock as well as the following fish:
1 Blue Tang
1 Yellow Tang
1 Kole Yellow Eye Tang
1 Bicolor dwarf angelfish
1 Coral beauty angelfish
1 Flame Angelfish
1 Royal Grama Basslet
1 Yellow longnose butterflyfish
2 Ocellaris clownfish
1 Bicolor dottyback
1 Saddleback butterflyfish
3-4 Blue/Green reef chromis
My question is, do you think that this list is too excessive. I want the tangs to have plenty of room. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I personally would only do 2 tangs in a 125. I have a 135 with 3 and think I may have trouble, time will tell. Good Luck, and go slow.

I actually completely changed my list...lol. According to the Drs. Foster and Smith website I should not exceed 59 total of inches of fish for this size tank. My new current plan for stocking is:
1 Blonde Naso Tang- 18”
1 Bicolor Angelfish- 6”
2 Clownfish - 7”
1 Pinkface wrasse-7”
1 Saddleback butterflyfish (semi-aggressive) -9”
1 Blue tang: 12”
Total inches = 59

I'll probably change my mind a couple more times :) I'm going to introduce the clowns first. Probably a month later I'll introduce a couple more. The last month I'll introduce the two tangs

Ok. Just take your time. Iam a huge fan of LR it helps a ton, even w it tho. Patients. I added 2 clowns and a gramma about a month after my tank was running. Then a few snails. A month later purple fire fish. All good so far. A added a few shrimp for apatasia control. But I don't really count them and the snails on the stock list.

1 Blonde Naso Tang- 18” grows to large for a 125, needs a min.180gal tank
1 Bicolor Angelfish- 6” ok, not known to do well
2 Clownfish - 7” same spieces, try to get one smaller than the other
1 Pinkface wrasse-7” never had one, wrasses are good fish
1 Saddleback butterflyfish (semi-aggressive) -9” add after a 6mo to a year, one of the hardier butterflies
1 Blue tang: 12” hippo? one of my favorite tangs
Total inches = 59

Probably not a good idea to add the clowns first - they are aggressive and territorial.
