I just purchased a new foxface rabitfish and it is staying in my live rock and will not come out... is this normal behavior? I had read online they are hearty fish and like to swim a lot.

He is just scared. He will be fine in time. Try to not hover by the tank. Let him get comfortable.

Yes, it's normal for them. They're very shy fish at first. It takes them a while to feel comfortable.
