how do you frag a coral if its already on one of those frag plugs?

you just frag them off the plug like you would frag them off a rock.

How do you frag them off a rock? Because I got some zoos that are on a frag plug and there isn't any rock underneath it, just the plug, and I heard that its bad to cut the zoo off. So I'm kinda in a conundrum.

to frag zoas just take a razor blade and peel up some of the zoa mat and then cut it off at the point you want. then super glue the polyps to the rock/plug you want. It takes practice.

You can do just about anything with a magfloat and eggcrate in this hobby.
I did the same thing.

where can you find eggcrate? I went to home depot and couldnt find it.

Technically, it is called "Eggcrate Light Diffuser" and cost about $12 for a 2' x 4' panel.

my home depot doesnt carry it so i buy it from lowes... your home depot may not have it either.
