So today i got bored and decided to cut up some mushrooms and break apart a large colony of Zoos. The first set of pics are of the original mushrooms and Zoos.

Next I sliced up three mushrooms into small pieces. I tried to cut them into quarters but they were too small. Here are some pics of about 9 pieces in my frag tank. The tank only has a small bubbler in it. It is a ten gallon tank with no fish and rock that has cycled for about 4 months. I do a 30% water change from the main tank every two weeks and so far I have had excellent conditions. The only animals in the tank are two hermits and a few snails. There is amazing life in this tank already. I have counted around 8 serpent/bristle stars about the size of a quarter and a ton of mysis shrimp.

This last set are pics of the zoos that I broke apart. I just cracked the frag that they were on into around 5 pieces. I noticed that I might have caused some damage to the individual zoos and hope they will survive. I decided to try my hand on a normal brownish colony first so that I didnt hurt any of my more expensive colorful zoos.
Then just as a bonus I took another picture of my baby RBTA.... Fully extended and full of shrimp....

About 4 hours later The zoos have mostly opened up. I did frag my yellows but they are still closed. My goal is to have about 2 dozen colonies of zoos in a month. Also to move the mushrooms back into the display tank by the end of the week. I just hope they attach quickly.

Here is a picture of about 10 new blue, green, striped mushrooms and some zoo frags that I glued in place in the display tank this weekend. Enjoy the pics...
There are also a few pics of the previous zoos I fragged a few weeks ago...

It is a fujifilm Ine Pix 3.2 mega pixels A330
I got it for a present a few years ago and I like it. Not the best camera though. I dont get great pics in dim light for some reason. But its digital and works well for most occasions.
