ok, so i've mastered fragging mushrooms, kenya trees, xenia, zoos and leathers and i was wondering how to frag a sea fan/gorgonian. thanks in advance!

I asked the same question because i was going to get one (before i became broke, now i have to wait) and asked what i should do when it got to big. They told me to basicly break or cut off the piece that you want and then scrape off the flesh off the bottom and glue it to a piece of rock. Now it could be different for every kind or some might be more sensitive to that kind of thing, the one i asked about was the deep sea yellow gorgonian (the one on this website)
This is what i was told but i would still get an opinion from someone who has done it before unless you just wanted to try it on a little piece or something.

Just cut it, if you want to mount it then you can drill a hole in a piece of rock or a reef plug and trim back the flesh around the base and glue it in the hole.
