fragging acropora with a dremel Video

OK larry you can come by tommorrow and get your piece and we shall start the color race to see if this will color up quicker under VHO's (my lights) or T-5ho (newtoit's lights)
for those who care this coral is plain brown at the moment I got half the colony origginaluy to see if it would color up. it did its a deep purple/tan with green highlights, I am curious if its going to color up faster under my VHO's or newtoits t5's anyone want to take bets?

Pantera, Awesome choice of background music(perfect for fragging, IMO). Brutality is the only way sometimes. I usually will just cut with a pair of cutters or just drop it like you did in the video, whatever works, right? Acros are pretty resilient to fragging, normally goes very smoothly and they heal up within a couple of days to a week. Have a good one.

oh I should mention I have 440W of VHO on a 4 foot tank he has (I think) 240w t-5 on a 36inch tank. He has a shalllower tank, and newer bulbs. I have a deeper tank but the tank is more established.
I'm kind of torn obviously I want my set up to be better for coral color but at the same time I reccomended he go with t-5s so I hope his does better, on the other hand I want my VHO's to perform to the level I like to think they can, on the other hand...... you know, its hard to stand on both sides of the fence.

what was it calfo said "often times a reefers first foray into fragging SPS is the accidental drop on the floor"
could you imagine getting your firtst sps then dropping it making it your first 25 SPS?
