Fragging GSP

So my GSP is growing like a weed and it’s almost time to take some out. I have asked how to frag it before and want to make sure I got it right. Do I just need to peel the mat and tear it off as needed? Then should I take whatever I peel off and attach it to a small rock with a rubber band?

Guess I was almost right except the glue part. I guess it doesn't hurt it to keep it so long out of the water either.

I used to use the net/rubberband method until I discovered that superglue gel is an infinite time easier.
I generally use a scalpel to scrape the mat off as close to the rock and peel/break/whatever I can.
Superglue the rock/plug you're going to put it on and then gently apply the mat to it. If the polyps don't come out for a few days, and the mat starts to die....don't worry...just give it a couple weeks longer <--- most likely this wont happen, but sometimes it happens to me (once in a while).

Hardy no kidding...LOL
I just drap it over a rock in a low flow area, it comes out in a day and attaches in three...then it spreads all directions on the new rock. I have also glued it down before as well it ticks it off and it stays closed longer, then like you said all is well and it comes out.

I will peel it this weekend. I was going to do it last night but decided that cleaning my fluval, protein skimmer and return pump was more important. I also added some more base rock.
