Fragging help pls

I'm thinking of fragging some of my overgrown purple mushrooms. I bought them on a rock but now they've multiplied so much that they're all bunched up together. So I'd like to thin them out, transfer some to other small rocks and rubble. Is it ok to keep the fragged mushrooms in a tupperware container without any flow until they attach? I'm thinking of placing some rubble on the bottom, then put the fragged mushrooms on top of the rubble and wait for them to attach.

I can leave the lid off completely, that's no problem. But I was thinking of no flow so the mushrooms wouldn't be blown around. Just until they attach, then I can transfer them to my reef tank.

Do the mushrooms have anything under their foots?like sand or tiny pebbles?if so you can glue those to a bigger rock that should help
