Fragging Torch? (pic)

Ok, I know this probably wont work but... I have a torch that has 6 heads on it. The smallest of them is getting shaded out. The branch with the smallest head only has two heads on it, and there is a lot of room below the base of the heads which looks like a good place to cut. Has anyone done this before? or heard of doing this? Got any directions for me?

Snap it... I have done mine three times. Where you put the arrow is where you need to do it.
