fragging xenia help

ive had this xenia for a month or so .could someone refresh my on cuting
should i cut it in tank or container?if its several stalks,do i cut between stalks
then scrape off rock or just cut stalk and leave a stump?and if im tranfering to tank across room do i have to acclimate?

its really easy. all you have to do is to cut a good sized branch off of it. then you simply glue it to the rock where you cut it with super glue gell. or you could put a piece of lr rubble next to the xenia and let the xenia attach to it because xenea are like weeds. hope that helps!

Using super glue on xenia is stupid. Thats like using super glue on leathers... Cut a branch, use a rubberband and some netting - I've had mine attach in 6 hours before...
Cutting a stalk is fine too - but the stump you leave will take a LONG time to grow another coral...

Yeah you can cut outside the tank - personally with xenia I just do it in the tank.
