fragging xenia

I have a couple of xenia frags that, for whatever reason, won't attach to anything. I've tried multiple methods. Is it ok to use reef glue on the bottom of the stalk, or will that harm the coral?

It won't harm it but it will just slime its way off and float around the tank again. If you just wedge it between a rock it will attach itself. It might take 3 or 4 days though. Xenia attaches VERY quickly.

Hmm, I'll give that a shot, but unfortunately they were cut pretty high up, and I don't have a ton of stalk to wedge in.

you can use a small dish with some rock rubble in it, place the xenia in the dish
and cover it with a mesh netting. i use the netting from like a bag of oranges or
apples

works for me ... rinse the netting off "well" before using it though, just in case ...
